PLOT is a Stategic Planning Tool that has an embedded data model that ensures the integrity of the resulting canvas.
PLOT supports telling a story from the Background of the Company, Context for the Strategy, Synthesis of Strategic Drivers through to Direction, Strategic Goals and the mapping through of the Goals to the Business Capabilities that are needed to realise them and a time-scheduled roadmap of projects that will execute the change activities to uplift the Capability to that necessary.
As such, PLOT provides transparency between Vision and Roadmap to enable confidence in the execution of the roadmap.

Step 1 - Setup, we select the canvas type and assign members of our organisation who we will collaborate with.
Step 2 - Background we describe the Company and Context for the Strategy
Step 3 - Strategic Drivers - we synthesise problems and opportunities as strategic drivers that the Strategy needs to consider
Step 4 - Direction - Mission and Vision Statements
Step 5 - Goals that embody the Vision and unpacking each of these goals to identify the Business Capabilities necessary
Step 6 - Drilldown - Define what Good look like as the Business Outcome for each Capability, make design choices for the constituent components People, Process and Technology and identify the Change Activities needed
Step 7 - Design - Organise the Change Activities into Projects and within Projects - Features
Step 8 - Shape the Roadmap timeframe as a timebox with Phases within to help set aspirations for achievements
Step 9 - Roadmap - time schedule the Features on the Canvas timeframe
